Be Mine Botanicals began like many good love stories - with curiosity.

Our Story

Founder Suzy Frigo began exploring herbalism as a way to better understand and care for herself while living with a chronic illness. She wasn’t seeking to replace modern medicine - she wanted to work alongside it. Her goal was to become an active participant in her own health and wellness.

So, like many herbalists-in-the-making, she began listening. To her body. To the plants. To historical wisdom and modern science. And what started as a personal path gradually became a calling.

Suzy has completed numerous educational paths in herbal medicine and holistic wellness including clinical herbalism, reproductive health and midwifery, trauma-informed care, and inclusive approaches to healing. Through all of her studies, one truth became clear: herbalism is not just about plants. It’s about people. It’s about relationship, communities, and remembering what it means to be truly cared for with knowledge, presence, and heart.

Be Mine Botanicals is a heart-led blend of traditional herbal wisdom and evidence-based practice. We offer clinical care and herbal education for every stage of life: from babyhood to elderhood, from curious beginners to professional herbalists.

This work is our love letter to you, to the plants, and to the deep magic of thoughtful care.

Our Values

  • We believe that healing begins with heart - love for the body, love for the plants, and love for the process. Every remedy, class, and consultation is guided by compassion and deep respect for each individual’s journey.

  • We take safety seriously because care is a responsibility, not a trend. Not all herbs are safe for all people, and herbal medicine is not one-size-fits-all. At Be Mine Botanicals, we are trained in herb-drug interactions, contraindications, and the nuances of working with children, elders, pregnant people, and those with complex health histories. Every recommendation we make is thoughtful, clinically informed, and rooted in a deep respect for the plants and the people who use them. You deserve care that is not only loving but safe, informed, and trustworthy.

  • We are a school first. We exist to teach, to share, and to invite others into the lifelong relationship between people and plants. When we learn how to care for ourselves and our community with herbs, we reclaim agency and wisdom.

  • We honor the wisdom of traditional herbalism while embracing evidence-based knowledge. This balance allows us to offer grounded, informed care that is both time-tested and relevant.

  • We believe herbalism is for all people: all bodies, all backgrounds, all identities. Our work is grounded in respect, cultural humility, and a commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported. Herbs belong to everyone.
